First, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s daughter, Kaavia, mastered her very first words: “Bye-bye.” And now, the 9-month-old baby is flashing her set of pearly whites.
Yesterday, Union posted a video on Instagram that is giving us major baby fever. (You’ve been warned.)
The clip features little Kaavia sitting in her highchair as she low-key flirts with the camera. No, really. The baby briefly turns her face away from the camera, makes eye contact and then erupts into a fit of giggles.
She proceeds to laugh uncontrollably (plus a few hiccups) as she proudly displays her six new teeth—four on top, two on bottom.
Union captioned the post, “More Teeth, More Smiles. This kid man. @kaaviajames. The look around 1st takes me OUT.”
The America’s Got Talent judge, 46, hasn’t been shy about documenting Kaavia’s milestones on Instagram. Earlier this month, she shared a video of her daughter’s first words. The clip shows Kaavia looking directly into the camera and saying, “Bye-bye.”
Union and Wade welcomed their first child via surrogate back in November 2018. The actress later revealed that her daughter’s full name—Kaavia James Union Wade—pays homage to a special person in her life.
“We wanted to include my family in her name, so the ‘James’ is from my uncle James Francis Glass who is also my godfather. Union is her middle name,” she said. “I’ve waited this long so fo sho I was gonna get in there.”
One thing’s for sure: Kaavia is a total ham.
