Gabrielle Union's Daughter Kaavia Does Mom's Hair in New Video (& She's Just a Little Distracted)

Gabrielle Union is the queen of switching up hairstyles. One week she'll be touting a wave of braids and the next she's got a gorgeous bob.

A big part of this mane magic is thanks to Union's frequent hairstylist, Larry Jarah Sims, who is the Bring It On star's go-to man when it comes to those fresh 'dos. However, Sims is currently on vacation, so Union needed to turn to someone else to help her with her hair, and she chose her daughter, Kaavia James.

The 48-year-old actress shared a video of her 2-year-old trying to style her mom's hair and the results are hilarious. Union added a caption that said, “When @larryjarahsims goes on vacation and your replacement stylist gets distracted easily. @flawlessbygu ❤ ❤ @kaaviajames #ShadyBaby.”

In the video, Kaavia is seen brushing Union's hair with a small pink hairbrush, but she's clearly distracted by whatever is playing on the TV. While Kaavia just holds the brush, Union jokingly asks, “You still working on my hair back there?”

Kaavia continues looking past her mom's head and a voice off screen says, “I feel like you're not paying attention to your client. You're watching the movie, not her hair.” Then, we watch as the 2-year-old attempts to spray her mom's ponytail with various products, while still not really paying attention. (Luckily, it looks like Union's hair was already styled before her daughter took a whack at it.)

American film director Matthew A. Cherry recognized that Union's hair still looked flawless, saying, “Paying attention or not she killed the style.” Meanwhile, fellow celebs couldn't get enough of Kaavia, with fitness trainer Lita Lewis commenting with a laughing emoji and saying, “The endless comedy she brings!”

We can never get too much of this mom and daughter pair.
