A Brand-New ‘Breaking Bad’ Movie Trailer Is Here, and It Gives the First Look at Jesse Pinkman Since His Escape

We have a new El Camino: The Breaking Bad Movie trailer, and it gives audiences a first-look at Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman since the show ended six years ago.

In the new teaser, which premiered during the Emmy Awards on September 22, we see crystal-meth-maker Jesse in the titular vehicle that he escaped in at the end of season five. As the chilling background music builds over the sound of crickets, a newscast plays over the car radio.

"Breaking news. A horrific scene with multiple victims. It started when neighbors reported hearing dozens of gunshots fired. When Albuquerque police arrived, they discovered the bodies of nine male victims, many shot multiple times. Veteran police officers are calling the level of carnage 'staggering.' Apparently, a remote-controlled machine gun was used in the killings. Investigators are looking for a person of interest who fled the scene."

We then see Jesse, face scarred and tears in his eyes as he breathes heavily and looks into the rearview mirror of the El Camino.

Netflix released another trailer for the movie last week, which took viewers through brief clips from the five seasons of AMC's Breaking Bad, time-traveling through Jesse's most vivid (and often, most gut-wrenching) memories.

The movie's official synopsis online: “Fugitive Jesse Pinkman runs from his captors, the law, and his past.” The streaming service released the first trailer for the Breaking Bad follow-up film on August 24. In that preview, a very battered-looking Skinny Pete is being interrogated by law enforcement about Jesse Pinkman's whereabouts... Now, with this new trailer, we know the law has caught up with our worn-out protagonist.

The movie will premiere on Netflix on October 11, and run for a second window on AMC. And by the looks of these super-tense trailers, we're going to need to book a massage after. (Yes, you've been warned.)
