Last week, the Duchess of Edinburgh, 59, attended the opening of the Domaine Evremond Winery in Canterbury, England. While there, photographers captured a stunning black-and-white photo of the royal standing alone in the vineyard.
Duchess Sophie strayed away from her typical dress and blazer wardrobe and opted for a modern pantsuit that complemented her figure. She wore a plaid double-breasted blazer by luxury brand Vince and paired it with coordinating wide-leg trousers that were an ideal mix of cool and casual.
I was so distracted by how regal she looked, I almost missed that her nails matched her outfit and accessories. The royal opted for a gray color, which abided by the royal family’s rule about no bright nail polish.
Duchess Sophie accessorized with the Ixia 80 pumps by Jimmy Choo ($975), the Minuit clutch by Sophie Habsburg ($316), the Mini Swank Bracelet by Roxanne Assoulin (from $120) and the Corda Fine Chain Friendship Bracelet by Monica Vinader ($160).
She completed her look with a necklace that holds a special meaning because she previously wore it back in 1999 during her engagement photocall with Prince Edward.
