Like most of the royals, Duchess Sophie is a fashion icon, often wearing vibrant colors and unique hats, keeping things quite bold and interesting in a world full of sophistication, elegance and grace. Even during recent drizzly weather, Sophie was brilliantly vibrant in the face of a potentially dreary day.
Duchess Sophie Is a Vision in Yellow at New Outing—But Her Fab Headpiece Steals the Show
Like a ray of sunshine
Yesterday, Duchess Sophie, along with her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, met with and greeted guests at a garden party held at Hillsborough Castle in Northern Ireland. The couple, who often attend engagements together, were at the event to celebrate and recognize the work of locals who make a positive impact in their community.
At the event, Duchess Sophie wore a striking yellow midi dress with fitted long bell sleeves and asymmetrical button detailing down the front. The frock, a piece called the ‘Yahvi’ Dress from Beulah London, was a stunning pop of color. The royal paired her lemon-colored dress with a bright powder blue coat from Suzannah London. She also added coordinated accessories sporting a textured and structured mini bag in a navy hue from Sophie Habsburg, a blush pink pair of patent pointed pumps with pearl details from Jimmy Choo and dazzling three-row diamond earrings from jewelry and watch brand G. Collins & Sons.
But the accessory that absolutely stole the show was her cool-toned blue Jane Taylor London halo band headpiece with a netted veil. The royal looked both stoic and angelic in photos captured from the event, all thanks to this fab accessory.
The visit by the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh was documented via the royal family's official Instagram account. There, you can see photos of the pair chatting with guests, meeting officials, standing at attention during a salute and even participating in a ceremonial dig.
As for us, we can't wait to see what looks Duchess Sophie will be sporting next.
