If you’re as big a Disney fan as we are, you already know the exact release dates for the next 21 movies due out over the next five years. And one we’re as excited about as a flying elephant is the live-action reboot of the 1941 beloved animated classic Dumbo, coming to the big screen on March 29, 2019.
The Tim Burton (!!) film will star Eva Green, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito and Colin Farrell, and pick up where the original ended—that is, as Dumbo takes flight at the circus. Disney execs premiered the first look of the film at CinemaCon last week in Las Vegas. Of course, the flying elephant is animated, but the newly revealed images look so dang lifelike, even we were amazed.
One small step for CGI, one giant leap for the flying pachyderm.
