We doubt the buyer of this townhouse moved at a glacial pace when nabbing such an enviable piece of property.

This past week, it was revealed through the Modlin Group, a high-end real estate firm, that the townhouse at 129 East 73rd Street had sold for an eye-popping $26.5 million (it was originally listed for $27.5M). While this piece of information might not be exciting on its own, film and fashion lovers will be interested to hear that the residence is none other than the home where Miranda Priestly (played by Meryl Streep) lives in The Devil Wears Prada.

Yep, that’s the one. If your memory needs a little refreshing, think of the scene where Andy (Anne Hathaway) is tasked with bringing “The Book” (AKA the mock-up of the next edition of Runway magazine) to Miranda’s home. While there, Andy gets tricked by Miranda’s twin daughters, who tell her that she should bring The Book upstairs, even though she was instructed to leave it on the entryway table.

While viewers might have been engrossed by the action of the scene, we personally couldn’t help but fawn at the stunning spiral staircase, the gorgeous crown moldings and more.

According to an Instagram post from the Modlin Group, the Upper East Side residence is a “22-foot wide, Neo-Italian Renaissance-style limestone and marble townhouse” with “approximately 12,000 square feet amid six stories with several outdoor spaces.”

The home was built in 1907 and then renovated in 2005 (one year before The Devil Wears Prada hit theaters). Oh, and it’s located across the street from Gloria Steinem’s home (casual).

If there’s one thing we know about Miranda Priestly, it's that she had good taste.
