Here's Why Demi from ‘The Bachelor’ Is Bound for ‘BiP’ Greatness

Episode two of The Bachelor premiered on ABC last night, and while we initially thought Catherine was destined to become the villain of the season, Demi swooped in to say “haters gonna hate.”

Here’s what you need to know: This week’s installment further introduced us to Demi, a 23-year-old interior designer from Red Oak, Texas. (You know, the one whose mom is in federal prison.)

The drama started on the first group date, when Colton Underwood asked the ladies to perform a monologue about a “first time” experience. When Demi took the stage, she dove into a speech about wanting to kiss a boy and then cornered Underwood in the audience for a make-out sesh. Classy.

To make things worse better, Demi leaves the other contestants with one final message: “And that is the story of how I got the first group date rose.”

She didn’t stop there. Later that night, Demi approached the women, picked up the date rose and said, “Oh, it’s my rose.” (Spoiler alert: She didn’t get it.)

Sure, Tracy’s reaction was a bit desperate. “I was, like, short of breath! All of us, I could tell, were, like, totally taken aback,” she said.

But no one could have predicted Demi’s next move. Prior to the rose ceremony, the 23-year-old stole Underwood away from Tracy wearing nothing but a robe. (Savage.) She even led him upstairs for a “relaxation” session, and we can’t help but wonder who OK-ed this.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is fantastic reality TV.
