Ryan Seacrest Was MIA from ‘Live’ Again Yesterday, So Kelly Ripa Had a Surprise Co-Host

Once again, Ryan Seacrest was not present on yesterday's episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan. But, Kelly Ripa was joined by a beloved television news anchor instead.

That’s right, for Monday's edition, Ripa was accompanied by surprise co-host David Muir, who anchors ABC's World News Tonight. On the show (and in an Instagram photo posted to the show's account), Ripa rocked a yellow and black checkered shirt with dark, denim jeans.

Meanwhile, Muir donned an all-black suit with a navy blue, buttoned shirt. They were both visited by The Bachelor host Jesse Palmer, who wore a cozy, gray sweatshirt with a navy blue blazer, blue denim jeans and chestnut-colored Oxford shoes.

Fans couldn’t get enough of the duo on Live yesterday. “The awesome twosome hosting together,” one fan commented on the IG post. Another fan acknowledged that all three of them had their hands tucked into their pockets, writing, “Am I missing a trend? Hands in the pockets of your jeans?”

Aside from his appearance as a guest on Live, Palmer has been pretty busy hosting The Bachelor Season 26.

Last September, the television broadcaster was named the new host of the popular reality dating show. The former NFL quarterback himself was cast in the fifth season of the show, which premiered in 2004.

At the time, Palmer released a statement about his return to the Bachelor franchise. “For more than 20 years, The Bachelor has brought the world dozens of unforgettable love stories, including at one time, my own,” he said, according to Variety. “Falling in love is one of life’s greatest gifts, and I am humbled by the opportunity to return to the show as host this season to offer the newest Bachelor advice gained from firsthand experience and I am grateful to play a small part in his journey.”

Hopefully, we get to see Muir (and Palmer) on Live more in the future!
