Looks like Daniel Radcliffe is about to trade in the wand for some diapers. The 33-year-old actor, who is best known for portraying Harry Potter, is expecting his first child with girlfriend Erin Darke, 38.
The news was confirmed to Us Weekly by Radcliffe's rep after he and Darke were spotted walking the streets of New York City on Friday, March 24. As the two strolled through the city (seen in pictures courtesy of Daily Mail here), Darke appeared to be sporting a baby bump.
This will be the pair's first child together. So far, neither has commented on the pregnancy, but a close source told The Mirror: “Daniel and Erin could not be happier to be expecting. They are absolutely thrilled, and can’t wait to become a family of three.” According to this source, the pair just recently shared the news with their families as well.
Radcliffe and Darke have been together for over ten years now, having met on the set of Kill Your Darlings in 2012. Darke is also an actress, known for her roles as Cindy in Good Girls Revolt and Mary in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
In 2022, Radcliffe told People that he and Darke were doing tremendously after nearly 10 years together.
“I’ve got a really nice life,” he told the publication. “I’ve been with my girlfriend for a decade pretty much. We're really happy.”
Following their work together on Kill Your Darlings, they also collabed on screen in 2021, when Darke appeared as a guest on an episode of Radcliffe's comedy series Miracle Workers.
