Dan Levy Sends Personal Message to ‘Schitt’s Creek’ Co-Star Annie Murphy: ‘I’m Very Proud of Her’

Just because Schitt’s Creek has sadly come to an end doesn’t mean the cast has lost touch with one another.

Dan Levy (David) recently celebrated the success of his former co-star, Annie Murphy (Alexis). The actor shared a candid photo on Instagram and encouraged fans to watch Murphy’s all-new series, Kevin Can F**k Himself, which is now streaming on AMC+.

Levy captioned the post, “Lil sis has a big new show premiering today and I’m very proud of her. Go watch @annefrances shine in #kevincanfhimself on AMC+!”

It’s important to note that Kevin Can F**k Himself is pegged to be very different than Schitt’s Creek, which originally premiered in 2015 and starred Eugene Levy (Johnny), Catherine O’Hara (Moira) and Emily Hampshire (Stevie).

The new series is a dark comedy that tells the story of Allison (Murphy), who suddenly realizes her marriage is far from ideal. “It’s about a woman who keeps playing the perfect housewife,” she says in the trailer. “Then one day, she realizes what she wants.”

Everything about the character is a 180 from her role on Schitt's Creek—down to the wardrobe. Murphy explained that her Kevin Can F**k Himself character is often seen “in a pair of frumpish, hard-to-slip-on maroon winter boots,” according to Variety.

David + Alexis 4ever.
