The Conners are getting a little visit from the soul man this upcoming season.
Today, ABC announced that John Goodman’s (Dan Conner) former Blues Brothers 2000 co-star Dan Aykroyd will be joining the season two cast with a guest-starring role.
The 67-year-old Saturday Night Live alum is set to appear in the third episode of the season as a poker friend of Dan’s. Further details about Aykroyd’s character aren’t yet known, but it’s expected that he’ll only appear in one episode. This marks the duo’s first shared screen since their 1998 cult classic movie.
In case you don’t recall, Blues Brothers 2000 centered on Elwood Blues (Aykroyd) getting out of prison and attempting to reunite with his old band and find some new partners in crime (aka Goodman). It quickly became iconic for its ridiculousness.
