How to Get Daenerys’s Hair in 3 Steps

The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi...or as we like to call her, Mother of Good Hair. Seriously, how is it that she can come off a dragon flight with such immaculate locks? It must be one of her many powers. For us mere mortals, here's how to recreate her flowing locks with a little help.

Step 1: Start with day-two hair (or cheat it with some dry shampoo to add texture). Squeaky clean hair doesn't hold braids as well.

Step 2: Part your hair down the middle and begin braiding one side back and away from your face. Repeat on the other side and stop when you've reached the back of your head. Gather the two ends and secure with a small clear elastic.

Step 3: Curl the bottom half of your hair using a 1-inch iron. Note: Daenerys rocks a tighter coil (and many of them at that), so don't be afraid to go a little wild with it. Finish with a light misting of hair spray and go about ruling your kingdoms.
