Crown Princess Victoria Is Giving Back by Making Food Boxes for the Homeless

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden won’t let social distancing keep her from giving back to the community.

The 42-year-old royal recently volunteered at a local City Mission, where she helped make food boxes that will be given to the homeless and other vulnerable citizens. The Swedish royal family shared a slideshow of photos on Instagram and revealed that Princess Victoria insisted on helping the needy, all while maintaining a strict six-foot distance with fellow volunteers.

The slideshow features a series of behind-the-scenes pics of Princess Victoria assembling the meals. In the caption, the royal explained why she’s giving back to the community.

Translated in English, the quote reads, “I feel like so many others in the community that I want to do something, and it feels good to be here with you today. It is important that we who have the opportunity try to contribute and help in the ways we can. We can make a difference together.”

Although Sweden isn’t on lockdown, many residents are self-isolating in an attempt to stop the spread of coronavirus. This means that Princess Victoria and her husband, Prince Daniel, have been working from the Haga Palace in Stockholm, where they reside with their two children, Princess Estelle (8) and Prince Oscar (4).

Shout-out to Crown Princess Victoria for being selfless during these tough times.
