Following the ceremony, Underwood documented the momentous occasion on his personal Instagram account. He shared a photo of the couple posing on the red carpet and wrote, “Tomorrow…tonight…the rest of our lives.”
Although Randolph recently wore a “Future Mrs.” jersey to a hockey game, not much has been said about the couple’s impending engagement…until now. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Underwood teased a potential proposal, saying, “Honestly, if I was a betting man I would say it would happen within the next year, yes.”
Underwood went on to explain why they’re waiting, adding, “I think, right now, at this point in our relationship, we’re enjoying this, trying to be as normal as possible. But you know, we’ve talked about our engagement and talked about taking the next step in our relationship and [decided] one thing at a time.”
We first met the couple on season 23 of The Bachelor. Although Randolph stayed out of the drama in the beginning of the season, that all changed when she shockingly left the show because she was unsure if she’d be able to reciprocate his feelings.
When Underwood realized she was “the one,” he sent home the remaining contestants—Hannah G. and Tayshia—and asked Randolph to take it “day by day” as boyfriend and girlfriend.
Nevertheless, we have no doubt that Neil Lane is already waiting on standby.
