How to Pack Like Chrissy Teigen on Vacation (Hint: You Only Need 3 Pieces)

No two stars live their best vacation lives like John Legend and Chrissy Teigen (well, except Beyoncé and Jay-Z, which, you're welcome for that comparison, Chrissy). Teigen always looks glamorously put-together on vacay, whether she's in a tropical locale for a family getaway or on a luxurious cruise around the Ligurian coast of Italy. Here are three pieces the social media maven, cookbook author and mom of two always seems to pack with her, no matter where she's traveling.

Denim Cut-offs

For her 2016 sojourn to Switzerland, 2017 voyage to Corsica and tropical January trip this year with her husband, Teigen opted for a pair of raw-hem denim cutoffs that can be worn and re-worn a million different ways. As a cover-up, dressed up with wedges or dressed down with a tank top, Teigen has cracked the code for minimalist packing: Bring clothes that don't need to be washed that much and can work for a multitude of situations. Brills.

A Yellow Maxi Dress

Bright, breezy and always turns heads: Yellow maxis are one of Teigen's go-tos for vacation. She packed a silky mustard-hued one for her and John's trip to Morocco in 2017, and another more casual button-front lemon-yellow maxi for their trip to Portofino (with John coordinating in a yellow button-down!) earlier this month. Because what's more summery (and easy to throw on) than a sunshine-colored tent? Nothing, that's what.

Silk Scarves

To be worn as headbands, of course. From her leopard-print headscarf to her silky printed headband at the beach, Teigen always seems to bring a colorful handkerchief along with...and it makes so much sense. The scarf takes up exactly zero percent of your bag, can be worn in a multitude of ways (including as jewelry, you're welcome), and screams, "I'm on holiday."
