Chrissy Teigen rang in 38 with the people she loves the most.
Several weeks back, the mother of four posted a birthday slideshow compiled of various snaps taken on her big day on Instagram. Teigen began the post with a candid pic of herself beaming next to her “best friend” John Legend, 44, who sports a pink blazer and trousers. Meanwhile, the Sports Illustrated model looks as stunning as ever in a white floral dress and black open-toe heels.
But Legend wasn’t the only person the proud mom spent her special day with. The last snap featured in the slideshow shows Teigen lying on the living room couch with two of her four children: baby Esti and Miles. In the pic, the newborn and the 5-year-old are lying on their mom’s stomach while she blows a kiss in their direction.
In the caption, Teigen wrote, “I had a really nice birthday [teary-eyed emoji] went to to see my friends @flamingo_estate, had a beautiful lunch with friends, then did ketamine therapy and saw space and time and baby jack and some weird penguins and cried and cried and cried.” She continued, “Then laid with my babies, then hot pot, then hung with my best friend [pink heart emoji].”
But the birthday posts didn’t stop there. In honor of Teigen’s 38th birthday, Legend dedicated a sweet tribute post to his other half. Alongside a slideshow featuring several photos of his wife, the singer wrote, “Happy Birthday to my lover, best friend and partner in everything! I’m so grateful you were born. So happy that we found each other 17 years ago.”
He continued, “So in love with you and the big, beautiful family we’ve built together. Let’s grow old and celebrate so many more birthdays together,” with multiple red heart emojis.
