First, Demi Lovato got a fresh lob. Then Reese Witherspoon brought back her Cruel Intentions haircut. And now, Chrissy Teigen is the latest celebrity to jump on the long bob bandwagon.
Yesterday, the 34-year-old model debuted her brand-new hairstyle on Twitter, which falls just below her shoulders. Unlike her usual long brown locks, Teigen’s hair now has choppy layers framing her face, along with platinum blonde highlights.
In the clip, Teigen is sitting in what appears to be her kitchen, admiring her freshly cut hair.
“Love it,” she says at the end of the video.
Teigen captioned the post, “new hair alert very important.” V important, indeed.
The model’s followers immediately responded with words of praise for her new ’do. Some said exactly what we’re all thinking, writing, “Fluffy. Feathery. It’s like a bird’s nest woven with golden thread. It’s #HairGoals. You seem chill tho. If I had hair like that, I’d be playing ‘Walking on Sunshine’ and doing dance selfies.”
Others really went for it: “I’m going to slow this down and add some Toni Braxton instrumentals to it. I hope this is okay.”
Celebrity hairstylist and colorist Tracey Cunningham is responsible for the new hairdo. Famous clients include Jennifer Lopez, Drew Barrymore, Charlize Theron, Toni Collette, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Biel, Emma Stone and Zoey Deutch (to name a few).
