Mr. Big Buzzed His Head for Quarantine and All of a Sudden We’re Binging ‘SATC’ Again

With everyone from Kelly Ripa to Arie Luyendyk changing up their looks during lockdown, we couldn't help but wonder...who would be next? And frankly, we were delighted by the answer: It's Mr. Big, ya'll. Chris Noth, the 65-year-old actor who plays Carrie Bradshaw's on again, off again, on again, left-her-at-the-altar, then on-again-for-real-this-time love interest on Sex and the City showed off his new buzzcut on Instagram, saying, "I decided dealing with hair was superfluous during these times of quarantine."

‘Bachelor in Quarantine’ Might Be Coming to ABC & No, This Is Not a Drill

Comments on his post range from "You look like a hot villain now" to "Big are u ok" to Sarah Jessica Parker herself commenting, "Why did you wait so long???? X." And honestly, we're siding with SJP on this one. The fresh cut suits him, and hey, it's better than transforming yourself into a Joe Exotic type (right, Armie Hammer?).

Suffice to say we were already pretty enamored with Noth's recent facial hair growth and the very "silver fox" vibes we've gotten from his graying mane. And while this DIY haircut is exactly the kind of bad-boy behavior we'd expect from Aiden, it kind of feels like a personal growth journey for Big, no? Either way, we're here for it.

If you need us, we'll be fantasizing about alternate 'SATC' endings wherein he and Carrie ride off together into the sunset on a motorcycle.

Your move, Aiden.
