Chris Hemsworth has built himself a pretty impressive resume throughout the years, but it looks like the Thor actor is about to add another (possibly even more badass) role to his list.
The 35-year-old actor is set to play wrestling legend Hulk Hogan in a brand-new movie. No, we’re not kidding. The project, which is from The Hangover director Todd Phillips, is set to depict Hogan during the time his wrestling career was on the rise.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the biopic won’t focus on Hogan’s eventual personal struggles but will be “an origin story of the Hulkster and Hulkamania.” It will chronicle Hogan’s life in 1970s Florida and his rise in the WWF in the ’80s.
Little else is still known about the film, however, THR writes, “Deals for the Hogan project are in the midst of closing with Netflix.”
