Introducing Vogue France’s latest cover model…Céline Dion!
While gracing the magazine’s May cover, the award-winning musician strikes a pose while donning a white oversized shirt with a matching pair of shorts.
The black-and-white snap was shared on the official Vogue France Instagram account and Dion’s personal page yesterday, along with a touching message from the “My Heart Will Go On” singer.
In the caption, Dion shared an encouraging update with her fans amid her ongoing battle with Stiff Person Syndrome, which she first made public back in December 2022.
While revealing that she is “feeling strong and positive about the future,” the beloved singer went on to say, “I’m honored to be doing a photo shoot for Vogue France. I’m very proud that, at 55, I’ve been asked to reveal my beauty. But what is beauty? Beauty is you, it’s me, it’s what’s inside, it’s our dreams, it’s today.”
The unveiling of the new Vogue France cover comes a few months after Dion made a surprise appearance at the 2024 Grammys, where she walked onstage to present the Album of the Year award. While one of her hit singles “The Power of Love” played in the background, the mother of three was greeted with a standing ovation by everyone in the audience.
Before presenting the nominees, Dion thanked everyone for their love and support. “Thank you, all! I love you right back,” she said to the crowd. “You look beautiful. When I say I’m happy to be here, I really mean it from my heart. Those who have been blessed enough to be here at the Grammy Awards must never take for granted the tremendous love and joy that music brings to our lives and to people all around the world.”
