Although she has one of the highest-grossing concert tours of all time, sometimes Céline Dion likes to sit in the stands, and that's exactly what she did this past Monday, October 30, when she attended a hockey game with her three sons in tow.
The 55-year-old singer shared a series of photos to her Instagram, where she and her sons—René-Charles, 22, and twins Nelson and Eddy, 13—posed in the Montreal Canadiens locker room, even managing to get snaps with a few members of the team.
“My boys and I had such a fun time visiting with the Montreal Canadiens after their hockey game with Vegas Golden Knights in Las Vegas Monday night,” Dion wrote. “They played so well, what a game!! Thank you for meeting us after the game, guys! That was memorable for all of us. Have a great season! - Celine xx…” (The Grammy winner also copied her caption in French.)
In addition to seeing the “My Heart Will Go On” singer on a rare outing with her kids, we also learned that the family seems to have a signature pose for photos: a thumbs up.
Want proof? Well, Dion does the gesture in the first snap, while both of her twins take turns giving a thumbs up in the first two pictures. Guess this pose runs in the family.
The Quebec native welcomed all three of her children with her husband, René Angélil, who passed away in 2016 at the age of 73. He and Dion were married for 21 years.
In an interview with Extra following Angélil's passing, “The Power of Love” singer said, “What makes me most proud is to be a mother...I have three magnificent kids, that through them, I see my husband and I have the strength today to keep dressing up.”
Dion has been out of the public eye for the past few years after being diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, a neurological condition that causes spasms and muscle rigidity. We wish her nothing but the best.
