Property Brothers stars Jonathan and Drew Scott are teaming up with a group of A-list celebs for a modern take on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

In honor of the upcoming premiere of Celebrity IOU, we’ve compiled a list of everything you need to know about HGTV’s newest must-watch. Keep scrolling for all the details on Celebrity IOU.

What is Celebrity Iou?

It’s a new HGTV series starring Jonathan and Drew embarking on a series of renovation projects. But unlike Property Brothers, each episode will feature a different celebrity counterpart, including Brad Pitt, Melissa McCarthy, Michael Bublé, Viola Davis, Rebel Wilson and Jeremy Renner.

Each celeb will choose a friend, family member or mentor who shaped their life-slash-career in a positive way. Bonus points if the person is in desperate need of an HGTV-approved redesign, because that’s exactly what they’ll get.

How can I watch Celebrity Iou?

Celebrity IOU will premiere exclusively on HGTV, though each episode will be available on HGTV.com shortly after the broadcast. The show will air on Mondays at 9 p.m. beginning April 13. *Sets DVR*

What’s the premiere about?

In the premiere, viewers are introduced to Pitt’s longtime makeup artist, Jean Black, who has been wanting to renovate her guest house but has never found the time. So, Pitt enlists the Property Brothers to help him with a surprise reno project while Black is out of town for a job. Together, they transform the space into a high-tech guest house, complete with a secret walk-in closet and motorized makeup vanity. NBD.

Why watch Celebrity Iou?

It combines everything we love about a home renovation TV show with a personal celebrity element. Every episode will shed light on a different star, digging into their life and providing insight about how they got to where they are today.

“It’s amazing to see someone who is extremely successful be grounded enough to always remember the people who helped them get there,” Jonathan said in a joint statement with his brother, who is excited to get back to their roots.

“Being a part of this show really hits home for us,” Drew added. “This is what we love to do, transforming people’s lives through their homes.”
