5 Married Celeb Couples Who Don’t Actually Live Together

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes…separate residences!? It doesn’t sound like the ideal scenario, but more and more celebrity couples are opting to live separately after tying the knot, and they’re not the only ones.

According to Market Watch, couples across the nation are beginning to wonder whether rooming with their new husband/wife is actually necessary. The trend appears to be growing fast, with the U.S. Census Bureau claiming that around four million married couples don’t live together.

So, which celebrity couples are included in the bunch? Keep reading for five pairs who reside separately.

1. Gwyneth Paltrow & Brad Falchuk

Despite marrying the American Horror Story co-creator in September 2018, the Goop founder doesn’t live with her husband. Since Falchuk has two children from a previous marriage—Brody and Isabella—he splits his time between Paltrow’s and his own home.

“Oh, all my married friends say that the way we live sounds ideal, and we shouldn’t change a thing,” Paltrow told The Sunday Times.

Although she recently revealed that she plans to move in with Falchuk, we hope it’s for the best.

2. Kaley Cuoco & Karl Cook

In an interview with E! News, the Big Bang Theory star revealed that she has yet to move in with her new husband. Why? Because both of their schedules require a lot of travel.

“We have a very unconventional marriage, you know,” Cuoco said. “We have different locations that we’re at a lot. We’re not together every single day.”

3. Ashley Graham & Justin Ervin

Back in 2009, the supermodel tied the knot with the cinematographer. Since Ervin works in Los Angeles, and Graham lives in New York City, the couple agreed to maintain a long-distance marriage, though they frequently visit each other.

“We have a rule. We don’t go longer than two weeks without seeing each other,” the model told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s absolutely fabulous. I love it. We just meet in L.A. or New York. We meet in Paris, Miami. It’s pretty sexy.”

4. Claire Danes & Hugh Dancy

The famous duo has a transatlantic marriage—Dancy is based in London, while Danes lives in New York. In an interview, the Homeland star revealed that their secret to staying connected is constant communication.

“We talk a lot, we text a lot, we send each other photos of our toes—dumb stuff,” she said, according to Australia’s Herald Sun.
