Catherine Zeta-Jones Posts Old Glamour Shots But Fans Mistake Her for Another Hollywood Star

Catherine Zeta-Jones is on a hot streak of sharing throwback photos and videos this week. And in one of her latest post, we (along with the rest of the internet) almost mistook her for another major Hollywood celeb.

On Thursday, the 51-year-old actress shared a throwback photograph from an old shoot on Instagram. The post featured a collage of nine almost identical black-and-white photos of Zeta-Jones in dramatic eye makeup. The most jarring part? All of the images clearly resembled late-actress Sharon Tate. And we weren’t the only ones that noticed the similarity. The comments section quickly filled with sentiments from followers calling out the likeness. One follower wrote, “This is beautiful they did an amazing Sharon Tate on you,” while another added, “I think this is Sharon Tate.”

This is the second throwback snap the actress has shared in the past few days. On Wednesday, she shared a never-before-seen video of herself at age 17. She captioned the post, “A 17 year old me, backstage at the Theater Royal Drury Lane, London. Seems like yesterday!!!” (Looks like it was taken yesterday, too.)

The video shows a young Zeta-Jones getting her hair ready for a show while she works on her own makeup. Meanwhile, the soundbite playing over the vid is from an interview during her time in the West End production of 42nd Street. And honestly, she hasn’t aged a bit.
