Catherine Zeta-Jones Challenges Michael Sheen in New ‘Prodigal Son’ Trailer

If we told you we're obsessed with Catherine Zeta-Jones, could you really blame us?!

Well (good news!), the multi-talented actress is joining season two of Fox's Prodigal Son as Dr. Vivian Capshaw. The network recently gave us a first glimpse of Zeta-Jones's character, who looks like a fantastic addition to the procedural drama.

Watch the trailer below.

In the trailer, Dr. Whitly (Michael Sheen) is challenging Dr. Capshaw (Zeta-Jones), who smiles and says, "They told me you'd do this...lure me in." With a small nod of her head, she adds: "I'm in charge. Do we understand each other?"

Zeta-Jones will play Dr. Capshaw, a resident M.D. at Claremont Psychiatric Hospital. In addition to Sheen (who's a series regular), Alan Cumming will also make a guest appearance in season two.

Fox describes Prodigal Son as "a fresh take on a crime franchise with a provocative and outrageous lead character and a darkly comedic tone." The series centers around Malcolm Bright (played by Thomas Payne of The Walking Dead). Bright is a former FBI-profiler, who works for the NYPD as a consultant on serial killers. As it turns out, his twisted past allows him to understand these criminals so well.

Prodigal Son was created by Chris Fedak and Sam Sklayer, who also executive produced the series alongside Lee Toland Krieger, Sarah Schechter, Greg Berlanti and Adam Kane. It airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Fox.

We don't want to mess with Dr. Capshaw.
