The Chicago alum, 51, recently took a walk down memory lane and shared a never-before-seen picture that was taken on her fifth birthday. The image features Zeta-Jones and her mom, Patricia Fair, holding hands as they pose for the camera, and the resemblance is uncanny.
No, really. If you look past the toddler’s adorable pink dress, you’ll notice her mom bears a striking resemblance to how Zeta-Jones looks today. Everything from the tall stature to the sharp facial features screams doppelgänger.
Zeta-Jones captioned the post, “My Mam and I on my birthday in 1974. Spain.”
Fans flooded the comments section with words of praise for the throwback pic. Some wished Zeta-Jones a happy birthday, writing, “Happy Birthday to you and to Mr. D! Also—absolutely love your mum’s blouse and pants! Fabulous! Enjoy your special day xoxo.” However, nearly all the comments applauded Fair’s pristine style: “Soooo adorable!! I love your mam’s bell bottoms!!”
This isn’t the first time we’ve noticed Zeta-Jones’s familial resemblance. Back in July, the actress shared a photo of her daughter, Carys (17), who looks exactly like Zeta-Jones. In the pic, Carys is wearing a cream, silk dress as her hair blows in the wind. “My girl, in the garden,” the caption read.
