Let us guess: By now, you're in the makeup-less phase of self-isolation. (There was likely the full face phase for Zoom meetings, followed by the "just eyes" phase, so you looked like a warm blooded human, then, finally, the truest no-makeup look of all: literally, not a drop of makeup. Because you realized you actually do feel pretty good without it, but that's another story.)
And, honestly, we love to see that celebrities have landed in the same place. Which is why we can't get enough of the photos from Goop's newest photographer, who is none other than Paltrow's own husband, Brad Falchuk. Not an actual photographer by trade (he's a TV writer, producer and director), he, like many of us, flexed a new set of skills under quarantine. But instead of plucking at a ukulele, Falchuk picked up a camera and took some seriously eye-candy worthy shots of his wife—the sweet kind that reveal a rare, raw glimpse into the at-home life of a famous person and all of their background decor to boot. Yes, we truly do love to see it.
The reason for the impromptu shoot? Goop is launching a new collection under their clothing line, G. Label, and it's all about reacting to the current environment. While clothes shopping can feel a bit fruitless right now, we're actually wearing just as many outfits, only a different, cozier variety that better fit our new, homebound lifestyles. So this latest G. Label drop is all about feeling your best/professional/many-hats-wearing self in your new routine but with a homey twist. And since full-on photo shoots are currently out of the question, Goop enlisted their staff to show off the pieces in the most authentic way possible: In their living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens.
Take a peek at Paltrow and Falchuk's photo shoot below, and yes, seeing a shot of the couple's bedroom just inspired us to add this linen bedding set to our carts. No shame.
