It's subtly sexy

Blake Lively just put a sexy twist on a business casual outfit, and I’m all for it.

This week, the It Ends With Us star, 37, stepped out for the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards. Lively wore a white form fitting dress by Michael Kors, which gathered at her hip to accentuate the thigh-high slit.

Lively completed the look with a sleek white blazer draped over her shoulders and sparkly jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz. The actress styled her hair in voluminous waves that framed the dress’s scoop neckline. Everything from the slit to the length of the jacket was perfectly tailored to flatter Lively’s figure from all angles.

The 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards took place at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, and the ceremony was hosted by Wicked star Cynthia Erivo. This wasn’t the first time that Lively has attended the annual event, but it has been quite some time (read: ten years) since her last appearance.

At the time, Lively wore a '60s-inspired minidress and walked the red carpet alongside Michael Kors. The actress repeated history during this year’s awards ceremony by posing for photos with the fashion designer, who received the 2024 Positive Change Award.

I don’t know for sure if Kors was the reason behind Lively’s return to the CFDA Fashion Awards, but it seems awfully coincidental if you ask me.
