Blake Lively is quite the perfectionist. The Gossip Girl alum, 35, recently posted an Instagram Story featuring herself jumping over an exhibit barricade at Kensington Palace to make a slight adjustment to the iconic Met Gala dress she wore last year.

In the newly shared clip, the It Ends with Us star can be seen at the palace’s Crown to Couture exhibit, which includes Lively’s 2022 Met Gala gown. When she noticed an imperfection, she broke royal protocol by hopping the rope to fix the hem of the dress. The actress—who was rocking a gray blazer, blue jeans and a high ponytail—quickly fluffed the dress with the help of jewelry designer, Lorraine Schwartz.

“When you’re the clown who hops over the rope at the museum to fix the exhibit,” Lively captioned the IG video. “Happy almost Virgo season folx.”

Lively also took a moment to personally thank Schwartz for designing the crown that she wore (along with her dress) on the Met Gala red carpet. The actress shared another snap of herself posing with Schwartz and fine jewelry designer, Ofira Sandberg. Lively wrote, “This was absolutely surreal. Seeing this crown that we made in Kensington Palace.”

She added, “I still feel like a kid playing dress up every time I get to wear a gown and borrowed jewels out. To see it memorialized like this… just. Wow. Something I’ll never forget.”

As an added bonus, Lively posted one more photo with fans, which gave a closer look at the beautiful crown and earrings she wore on the night of the Met Gala.

Lively’s famous Met Gala gown is just one of the pieces included in the Crown to Couture: The Fashion Show of the Centuries exhibit. It is featured among 200 items that include ball gowns, court suits, handbags and jewelry.

Per the official website, the Crown to Couture exhibit “draws fascinating parallels between the world of today’s red carpet and the Georgian Royal Court in the 18th century.”

Talk about iconic.
