Blake Lively Kicks Off Her Birthday Week in Seafoam Green, Cherry-Covered Dress

Why celebrate your birthday for one day when you can party the whole week?

That's the attitude Blake Lively has adopted and frankly, we love this idea. The Gossip Girl actress will be turning 34 tomorrow, but she started the festivities this past weekend, where she sported a stunning seafoam green gown covered in fuzzy cherries.

Lively spun around in the fruit-adorned dress on her Instagram Story, while the song “Cherry” by Louis Armstrong and The Mills Brothers played in the background. In the clip, we get a view of a cozy, rustic setting and the actress captioned it, “Birthday weekend.” The video was shared by Teuta Matoshi, the company that made Lively's dress.

Just a couple of weeks ago, Teuta Matoshi posted some close-up shots of the tulle gown, so thankfully, fashion lovers can get a better view of all the fine details, like the tie-up sleeves, corset-style bodice and functional pockets.

Lively paired the cherry gown with red Mocalaureat flats from Christian Louboutin, as well as jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz. And if this is just the beginning of the actress's birthday outfits, we can't wait to see what she has in store these next few days.

She already received one gift from Louis Vuitton, which she showed off in another Story and said, “@louisvuitton with the early birthday present. In love.” To explain her facial expression, Lively jokingly added, “But my 'in love' face didn't look as bored chic. So you get this.”

While giving us a peek at her gorgeous closet, Lively also explained her attire, saying, “Also: Shout out to my fellow pantless friends running around their house until they grab a blanket and do the 'towel treatment' and act like that counts as clothes.”

We hope your week is full of towel couture, Blake. We're sure Ryan Reynolds will have something fun in store, too.
