Billy Porter Enchants in Black-and-White Coat Gown with Long Cape at ‘Cinderella’ Premiere

Billy Porter just brought lots of magic to the Los Angeles premiere of Cinderella.

The 51-year-old actor, who never disappoints when it comes to dressing up, showed up to the red carpet event in a stunning black-and-white gown.

Porter's look was styled by Ty Hunter and Colin Anderson, who dressed the star in a Benchellal Collection N° 9 coat gown. The gown featured a black, blazer-style top and a long, white skirt. However, the highlight of the outfit was the attached cape, which included a bow at the top that gave Porter the appearance of having wings.

The two-toned ensemble was paired with a lucite clutch from L'Afshar and silver jewelry from H.Crowne. And the 'fit was rounded out with a pair of Kitana 6" platform boots in white croc-embossed leather from Harry Halim.

The series of four photos offers a glimpse of Porter's outfit from all different angles, including a close-up of his jewelry and a shot of his cape from the back. In the caption, he said, “About last night! @cinderellamovieofficial @amazonprimevideo Premiere.”

In the movie, Porter's character, named Fab G, is a genderless reincarnation of the fairy godmother from the original story. And he alluded to this tidbit in his caption, where he wrote: “#MagicHasNoGender.”

Fans were enchanted by the look, like one user who wrote, “HEAD TO TOE......FABULOUS.” Another referenced Porter's hit TV series Pose and said, “Extravaganza” with a heart-eyed emoji.

The design company for Porter's gown also posted some shots that gave a better glimpse of his pearly cape. In the caption, they said, “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo.”
