There are two types of people: Those who put up Christmas decorations the second the clock strikes midnight on November 1. And those who are still celebrating Halloween. Beyoncé is the latter.

Today, the 43-year-old singer released the first visual from Cowboy Carter. The video was set to the song “Bodyguard,” and it featured Beyoncé channeling Pamela Anderson’s most iconic looks of all time.

Beyoncé began with a tribute to the 1996 film Barb Wire by wearing a black skintight dress with mesh gloves. She even has a gun that displays a “VOTE” banner when fired.

Next, the singer took it back to the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards, when Anderson wore a white giant pink fuzzy hat with a corset and tights.

Last but not least, Beyoncé put a unique spin on the actress’s Baywatch attire. The musician copied Anderson’s now-famous run on the beach in a red one-piece swimsuit that read “Beywatch.” (Get it?)

The visual is a pretty big deal for Beyoncé fans, since the singer hasn’t released a music video since “Lemonade.” Earlier this year, Beyoncé explained the reason behind her lack of visuals.

“I thought it was important that during a time where all we see is visuals, that the world can focus on the voice,” she told GQ. “The music is so rich in history and instrumentation. It takes months to digest, research and understand. The music needed space to breathe on its own.”

Beyoncé continued, “Sometimes a visual can be a distraction from the quality of the voice and the music. The years of hard work and detail put into an album that takes over four years! The music is enough.”

Fingers crossed this is the first of many visuals to come.
