In case you missed it, Disney hosted a family singalong on ABC last night. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the nationwide singalong event featured celebrities and their families singing their favorite Disney tunes from their homes. With celebs like Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande and Josh Groban participating, it was hard to imagine it getting any more star-studded. Then, Beyoncé appeared.
Watch Beyoncé’s Surprise Appearance During Disney’s Family Singalong—and Hear Her Beautiful Message to Fans
In an unannounced appearance, Queen Bey performed "When You Wish Upon a Star" from Pinocchio. With her blondish-brown hair pulled half-up and a simple cat eye, her look—and voice—stunned.
But it was her message to fans that really stopped us in our tracks. Before she started singing, she said, "Hello to all of the families across the world. I'm very proud and honored to be a part of the Disney family and to help present the Disney Family Singalong in partnership with Feeding America. I'd like to dedicate this song to all the healthcare workers who have been working tirelessly to keep us healthy and safe. We greatly appreciate you."
The 38-year-old singer is no stranger to Disney, having starred in last year's live-action Lion King movie.
Toward the end of the appearance, she added, "Please hold onto your families tight. Please be safe, don't give up hope. We're going to get through this, I promise. God bless you!"
We don't know about you, but we're feeling pretty blessed right now.
