Cameron Diaz is making a well-deserved comeback after retiring from acting back in 2014. Not only did she star in Netflix’s latest action film, but she also celebrated a major milestone with her husband, Benji Madden.
This week, Madden celebrated his and Diaz’s tenth wedding anniversary by sharing a slideshow of photos on his personal Instagram account, including a rare couple picture. He also wrote a heartfelt caption where he called the actress a “queen” and “badass woman.”
The slideshow begins with a glamorous photo of Diaz, and it's followed by a never-before-seen selfie of the happy couple. Madden wrote, “This is my QUEEN [red heart emoji] I celebrate this BAD ASS WOMAN. Wife, Mommy, friend, partner, Boss, and lover. We just hit 10 YEARS married on January 5th and every year only gets more fulfilling. It’s special.”
The musician went on to gush over their imperfectly perfect marriage, adding, “Never perfect—always real—always reliable. Every day getting to have my best friend with me ride or die….what a beautiful life- I am GRATEFUL!!! [prayer hands emoji].”
Madden also took the time to promote Diaz’s brand-new Netflix film Back In Action, which marks her first acting role since Annie in 2014. He continued, “And ANOTHER MiLESTONE happening TOMORROW!!! We are SO happy to see you….BACK IN ACTION!!….Congrats baby!! [red heart emojis] [confetti emojis] @camerondiaz GO watch it on @netflix.”
