Ben & Jerry’s has been super busy releasing new flavors and treats (especially when it comes to cookie dough), and it doesn’t look like they’re slowing down anytime soon. The brand just released a new nondairy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough dessert.
According to the Vermont-based company, cookie dough is “the number one global flavor,” so it was only a matter of time before they released a vegan option.
This isn’t their first foray into the dietary trend however. B&J has a total of 11 vegan flavors, including Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Cinnamon Buns, Chunky Monkey and Cherry Garcia. Each is made up of an almond milk and pea protein base.
This new flavor features a vanilla base with gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough and fudge flakes (umm, yum). But Cookie Dough isn’t the only new flavor they’re adding to their lineup. They’re also launching Chocolate Caramel Cluster with dairy-free almond-milk-based chocolate ice cream, peanuts, fudge chunks and swirls of salted caramel. We imagine it’s something like snickers in a frozen dessert form.
