Thank you, ABC, for a combined 48 seasons of breakups, makeups and hookups courtesy of our favorite dating franchise: The Bachelor/The Bachelorette. While the show typically ends with a tear-filled engagement, as it did for Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson on The Bachelor, it sometimes results in heartbreak like it did for Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell, who recently called it quits after four years.
The upcoming season of The Bachelor is set to premiere on January 27, and new star Grant Ellis couldn’t be more ready. “When I was called, I just expressed gratitude, and I was like, 'Of course I'll take the role,”” he said on an episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast.
In honor of The Bachelor season 29, I decided to take a look back at all of the Bachelor Nation relationships and rank them based on how long they lasted before ending things—with a few noteworthy exceptions who actually made it.
