Babybel’s Newest Snack Is Giving String Cheese Some Competition

babybel mini rolls cheese

It’s 3 p.m. and we’re wilting at our desks—time for a cheese run. We dash to the office fridge and grab as many string cheeses as our pockets can hold. We’re revived.

But there’s a new kind of cheese snack that might revolutionize our workday ritual—enter Babybel’s latest launch, the Mini Roll.

What does that mean? Well, imagine if string cheese and the familiar, bite-size Babybel had a baby. The Mini Roll is a long tube of cheese twisted up into a spiral and packed in an individual, lunchbox-approved wrapper. These new snacks don’t have a flavor per se, but if we had to guess, we’d hypothesize they taste like the original Babybel cheese (mild, salty, delicious).

Our only remaining questions: Do they peel like string cheese? Or are you forced to bite into them like a savage?

The Babybel Mini Rolls can be found in the dairy aisle of your go-to grocery store in packs of five. We're gonna need about ten for each workday.
