The viral kid-friendly song made its Billboard Hot 100 debut today at number 32, so there go our dreams of it quietly disappearing into the night.
If, by some stroke of luck, you’re unfamiliar with the song from South Korean educational brand Pinkfong, then give yourself a pat on the back. If you’re painfully aware of “Baby Shark” and its catchiness, then just marvel at the fact that a song with minimal lyrics (but 2.1 billion views on YouTube) just accomplished what many artists never will.
