According to the 2018 American Wedding Study conducted by Brides.com, couples spent an average of $44,000 on their nuptials. (The results were accumulated by surveying more than 800 brides and brides-to-be.)
The news might be a surprise to wedding crashers aficionados, considering it’s a $17,000 increase from last year’s statistics, which estimated an average cost of $27,000.
