Ashley Tisdale is preparing to take on an all-new role (aka motherhood).
The 35-year-old actress just revealed that she’s expecting her first child with her husband, Christopher French. Tisdale announced the exciting news on her personal Instagram account and shared a slideshow of photos featuring the proud parents-to-be and her growing baby bump.
The first photo features the couple standing with their heads together, followed by a candid shot of Tisdale smiling at her baby daddy. The actress is wearing a simple white dress that hugs her pregnant belly, while French opted for a classic white button-down and trousers.
The couple tied the knot back in 2014 in a small private ceremony in Santa Barbara, California. The actress’s High School Musical co-star, Vanessa Hudgens, served as one of six bridesmaids.
Tisdale previously discussed her relationship with French in an interview with Us Weekly, saying, “I think that pretty much every night we hang out, and pretty much on the weekends we’re like, ‘OK, let’s do a specific night where we’ll do a date.’ We both know what our priorities are. We both know that we’re always each other’s number one. So I think that’s really how you balance your relationship with work.”
