Arie Luyendyk Jr. & Lauren Burnham Already Chose a Name for Their Daughter—& Just Gave Us a Major Hint

While most of the world is fixated on the impending arrival of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first child, we’re also expecting the entrance of another (sorta) famous child.

Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s wife, Lauren Burnham, is just a few weeks away from giving birth to a baby girl. Although The Bachelor couple already decided on a name for their daughter back in December 2018, they haven’t publicly discussed the child’s moniker…until now.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the soon-to-be parents discussed their new venture into parenthood and revealed the baby’s name is traditional with a “unique” twist. “It was a name we kind of tweaked into something unique,” Burnham said.

The 27-year-old expectant mom, who is due in June, also confirmed that they didn’t choose the same moniker as any past Bachelor Nation contestants, adding, “We don’t really know anybody who’s named that.”

Back in October 2018, Luyendyk Jr. and Burnham announced they’re expecting their first child. The pregnancy was unexpected, especially since they were scheduled to tie the knot in January 2019. Nevertheless, Burnham admitted that she knew she was pregnant long before it was confirmed.

“The first sign that I had—or Arie had—was that I started craving meatballs for breakfast,” she said. “And I’m usually a very light eater. I don’t like a lot of red meat.”

Burnham went on to say that she couldn’t be more thrilled to add to the cast of Baby Bachelor in Paradise. “We’re really, really excited to meet her,” she continued. “It’s been a long time coming. I’ve been pregnant for seven-ish months, so it’s about time to get my body back and to meet our baby. We’re really happy.”

Although the couple didn’t reveal any further details about the baby’s name, we can’t deny that “Rosie” (maybe spelled “Rosee” for the tweak on tradition?) sounds awfully fitting.
