Ariana Grande Has Major ‘Cinderella’ Moment on Grammy’s Red Carpet

She may have skipped last year’s awards, but Ariana Grande just stepped onto the Grammy’s red carpet in a gown so extra it more than makes up for her absence in 2019.

The 26-year-old wore a (rare) custom Giambattista Valli blue-grey tulle dress with gloves. She accompanied the look with custom (again) Louboutins that included no-slip grips on the soles.

And of course, Grande topped off her look with her signature ponytail—only this time, it was blonde.

Grande won her first-ever Grammy last year, and this year, she’s up for an additional five awards including Record of the Year for “7 Rings,” Album of the Year for Thank U, Next, Best Pop Solo Performance for “7 Rings,” Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Boyfriend") and Best Pop Vocal Album for Thank U, Next

Though she didn't attend last year—due to an issue of feeling "creatively stifled" by the show's producer, according to Rolling Stone—Grande did post a photo to Instagram of the Zac Posen Cinderella-style dress she had planned to wear to the ceremony. Well, it may be a year later, but the look feels as fresh as ever.

We’re totally here for this Cinderella moment.
