We will be changed for good when the Wicked film adaptation hits theaters on November 27, 2024. But until then, we'll have to settle for the teaser photos that leads Ariana Grande, 29, and Cynthia Erivo, 36, keep posting to their Instagram pages, which are only getting us more excited for this musical epic.

Over the weekend, the “Thank U, Next” singer and the Harriet actress simultaneously shared a slideshow of pics to their accounts, with of few of the photos seemingly taken from the Wicked set. “Up to (no) good,” the caption read, along with emojis of bubbles and a broom.

The Wicked film adaptation will actually be split into two parts, with Part 1 hitting theaters in November 2024, while Part 2 is slated for release on December 25, 2025. The first part got pushed forward earlier this month, when director Jon M. Chu shared a statement that said, “We are deep into shooting WICKED here in London and we’ve received an overwhelming amount of messages asking us to release the movie earlier than planned and trust me, we want it too…so we now have a BRAND NEW RELESE DATE!! NOVEMBER 27th 2024!!!”

However, while we've still got over a year to wait, Erivo (who will portray Elphaba Thropp, AKA the Wicked Witch of the West) and Grande (who will play Glinda the Good Witch) have been giving us plenty of teasers to fend off our impatience.

In addition to Erivo and Grande, Wicked is confirmed to include a number of other major stars, including Bridgerton's Jonathan Bailey in the role of Fiyero, recent Oscar-winner Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible and Marvel star Jeff Goldblum in the part of the Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

The screenplay for part 1 of Wicked is being written by Winnie Holzman (Once and Again, thirtysomething) and musical theater composer Stephen Schwartz (Enchanted). This duo also wrote the book and lyrics for the Tony Award-winning Wicked Broadway musical.

Maybe if we click our heels together three times, the first part will get pushed forward another month.
