Since we lost Anthony Bourdain in June 2018, there’s been an outpouring of media honoring the late chef, writer and travel expert—from the last lingering episode of his Emmy-winning CNN show Parts Unknown to an upcoming authorized biography (which is said to publish this fall).
Luckily, we won’t have to wait that long for more: According to an Eater report, a new book about Bourdain is coming this spring. It’s titled Anthony Bourdain Remembered—and it’s already available for preorder on Amazon.
More memorial than biography, the book will be, according to the Amazon description, “a moving and insightful collection of quotes, memories and images celebrating the life of Anthony Bourdain.” Bourdain’s estate has given the book the go-ahead, and considering the CNN-headed project was originally intended as a keepsake for his daughter, we’re expecting it to be a much more personal glimpse into Bourdain’s life and achievements.
Bourdain was a beloved public figure and prolific traveler, so naturally, he made an impact on some big names who will appear in the book. Former President Barack Obama, chef Eric Ripert, documentary filmmaker Ken Burns, chef José Andrés and Questlove are just a few names on that list.
