Zahara started her freshman year of college at the institution this fall. The HBCU (located in Atlanta, Georgia) is hosting its first in-person Homecoming event since 2019.
The Eternals actress chose to come down for the weekend and celebrate with her daughter for the school’s special annual tradition. Jolie and Zahara were seen walking around on campus and enjoying the festivities.
In a photo (posted by @coco_michelle__), Jolie sported an all-black ensemble with matching pointed shoes and a caramel-colored coat wrapped around her waist. And Zahara stood beside her smiling and donned a white summery top, blue jeans and a pair of black boots.
The caption read, “Angelina Jolie just casually walking around with her daughter at Spelman during Homecoming. (I was doing community service looking an embarrassing mess).”
Back in August, the Mr. & Mrs. Smith star had to experience one of the most difficult moments many parents must face in life: sending their child off to college.
A photo slideshow posted by Darryl Holloman (the school’s Vice President for Student Affairs) showed the actress getting very emotional as she dropped her daughter off at Spelman. “I’m gonna start crying! I have not started crying yet.” Jolie reportedly went on to say that she was “holding it together.”
