‘SATC’ Spinoff ‘And Just Like That’ Gets New Teaser Trailer—and a Release Date

Back in September, HBO Max was generous enough to give fans the first footage of the Sex and the City reboot, titled And Just Like That…. And now, they are continuing their generosity by finally announcing an official release date.

The streaming platform shared a new teaser for the highly-anticipated sequel on Friday. In the footage, Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte are back together and continuing their lives in NYC. At the end of the clip, the credits reveal that the series is coming to the platform on December 9.

“They say some things never change,” Bradshaw says over a video montage. “But the truth is, life is full of surprises. And as your story unfolds, the city reinvents itself and just like that a new chapter begins.”

Per a press release, And Just Like That… will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they “navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.” The first two episodes will be dropped on the 9th, with the following eight episodes premiering weekly on subsequent Thursdays.

In addition to Parker, the Max original will see the return of cast members Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon as they reprise their beloved roles as Charlotte and Miranda. Other cast members include Sara Ramírez, Mario Cantone, Chris North, David Eigenberg, the late Willie Garson and Evan Handler. Parker, Davis and Nixon will serve as executive producers alongside Julie Rottenberg, Elisa Zuritsky, John Melfi and Michael Patrick King. Although Sex and the City was created by Darren Star, the story is based on the best-selling book by Candace Bushnell.

Less than one month to go.
