And Just Like That... certainly doesn't shy away when it comes to fan service. As devoted viewers of Sex and the City and its sequel series know, AJLT has featured everything from Carrie Bradshaw wardrobe staples to the return of beloved characters. Now, in episode nine of season two, viewers have finally been introduced to Aidan's ex-wife, Kathy, who is portrayed by Rosemarie DeWitt. And this casting is a genius nod to the SATC universe.

Previously, in Sex and the City and its film companions, Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) learns that Aidan is married to a woman named Kathy, and they have three children—Tate, Homer and Wyatt. But until now, we'd never met this mystery woman.

Now, with Carrie and Aidan's romantic rekindling (following his divorce to Kathy), viewers have finally met the woman who captured Aidan's heart for all those years. And as noted by Entertainment Weekly, DeWitt is a cheeky choice for the role, because she is married to Ron Livingston in real life—AKA the man who played Jack Berger in eight episodes of SATC (yep, the one who broke up with Carrie via Post-It note).

In the ninth episode of AJLT, Kathy asked for a sit-down chat with Carrie and discussed everything from her feelings about Carrie to her relationship with Aidan. However, she didn't share details about her and Aidan's split.

DeWitt is just the latest celebrity cameo in the star-studded second season of the Max dramedy. We're still excitedly awaiting the return of SATC star Kim Cattrall, who is slated to appear in the final episode of season two, on Thursday, August 24.

We see what you did there, AJLT casting directors.
