Amy Poehler Quietly Adds ‘Owner of Brooklyn Wine Store’ to List of Achievements

Just when we started to wonder what Amy Poehler was up to, she throws us a wild card.

The actress and comedian just sneakily opened up a charming wine store, Zula Wines & Spirits, in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. Casual.

The store is a collaboration with musicians Mike Robertson and Amy Miles, whom she met while working on Wet Hot American Summer, and houses bottles from Europe, South America, Africa, Australia and the U.S. (basically, a little bit of everything). With free tastings and a dedicated less-than-$13 section, it sounds like the opposite of “gimmicky celeb wine foray,” which is refreshing.

As for her own wine preferences, Poehler told Eater, “I enjoy a Grüner. I’m more of a white-wine gal, but honestly, I’ll just drink whatever Mike recommends to me.” Same, Amy. Same.
