We've seen Amy Poehler dazzle on the red carpet on several occasions—and, of course, the 2021 Golden Globes were no different.
The Parks and Rec alum arrived to the virtual ceremony in her first outfit for the night, which happens to be a stunning all-black ensemble. The 49-year-old star, who's set to co-host the ceremony with her BFF, Tina Fey, was spotted in a totally chic ensemble, featuring a black sequin dress with with matching leggings and shoes.
Poehler and Fey's return as hosts will undoubtedly be a major highlight during the ceremony. (For those who aren't aware, this will mark the comedic duo's fourth time hosting the Golden Globes Awards, after previously hosting in 2013, 2014, and 2015).
After the news of their return as co-hosts was confirmed, NBC's Chairman of Entertainment, Paul Telegdy, said in a statement, “NBC has long been the home to two of the funniest people on the planet—Tina Fey and Amy Poehler—and we didn’t want to wait any longer to share the great news that they’ll be hosting the Globes once again."
Fey and Poehler last co-hosted the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Awards in 2015, which was nothing short of entertaining. Lorenzo Soria, president of the HFPA, revealed, “There’s no denying that Tina and Amy’s comedic chemistry is infectious. We can’t wait to see the dynamic duo return to the Golden Globes stage.”
